...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10,11.

May the Lord continue to inspire our hearts with His presence while living and working with Him all the days of our lives!

I appreciated you so much for your prayers to our God for our mission in the Philippines to reach all people. I really believe in my heart God answers prayer all the time in His Will.

With this regard, I would like to share the victories I have gone this past week in the BadjaoVillage in Cebu. To God Be the Glory!

For event 3- May 14, when I gather and lead the Badjaos for prayer meeting. It was great sharing time with them and the Bible.

For event 4- May 17, in the morning worship with the Badjao was great and awesome with great singing and praises to our God. My emphasis was John 6 about the feeding of 5000 when our Lord raises up the 5 loaves and 2 fish, Jesus did not ask the Father for more but giving thanks instead so the miracle happens....I led them to the point that when there is scarcity of everything just look on to the Lord Jesus with Thanksgiving and miracle happens. Not just keep on craving because that spirit might overlook God's care and goodness in all times.

And after the worship service, as usual we do feeding favorite arrozcaldo inside the church. These brothers and sisters are so thankful with Words in message during worship and this feed.

For event 5- after the service and feeding, one of the leaders told me to go visit two sick childrem who suffer fever; then I prayed for healing and provided the parents some peso to buy milk and food.

For event 6- At around 6 in the afternoon, I gathered the leaders so that we could hold a gospel video beside the church so that we could minister to the other Badjaos who are not joining the sunday services with the Word of God outside. There came 4 new Badjaos who trusted Jesus as their Savior and God and said that they are willing to learn more about the Bible.

My work in this Badjao Village will be until this 24th in the morning only and I will be travelling back home to Davao on the evening by boat and arrive Davao on the 25th and do some remaining days in mission with my family in some villages and churches there.

Please continue to pray for the good weather because I had to postpone two schedules with churches who arranged with me for the gospel film showing in their outreaches due heavy rains Saturday and yesterday Monday. My next schedule for gospel preaching in the village using films will be in the adjacent village of This Badjao tribe which is the Cebuanos; this will be May 20. After we do prayer in the afternoon I will commute with my Badjao leader named Elmo to another village to preach Christ there. And, this May 22 I have a meeting with Pastor Jaime Pancho at 4:pm of Ebenezer Baptist Church to plan, discuss and arrange with him the feeding and gospel film showing in one of His outreaches in Consolacion Cebu this May 23 Saturday. Please join us pray with thanksgiving for good weather so that we could pursue the people who have not heard the good news about what Jesus did at the cross on Calvary.

I will talk to you soon. Words of gratitude is not enough. God Bless you so!

Serving and Reaching

Excerpts from Elmerson Palabrica's March 2, 2009 email:
"Thank God for His goodness and mercy in us overflowing in Jesus!
Just arrived home from series of mission serving and reaching the unreached in the southern Mindanao, Philippines.

"On February 16 I travelled once again to Davao del Sur province, because this is my mission focus this February to preach each sitio or small village of barangay or village Talogoy in the town of Malita. When I arrived in the first sitio or small village here I coordinated the local SBC church here for follow-up for all the professions of faith and asked the permit to the Village councilor Sumanday an inactive Christian- to do the gospel film and feeding mission near to his house, I thanked God for directing us in his ground, because this councilor and his children rededicated their lives to Jesus and there were several people joined with the sinners’ prayer and trusted their lives to Jesus. We served the food locally known as nutritious arrozcaldo for the children and the parents. One of his daughter Theresa a single parent decided to study to my 'simpliflied pastoral home study program,' now on going, to become active again in the church for the children.

"On Feb. 17 we did another gospel video but no feeding was served there and at 5 pm I ran the projector the Cebuano film Alpha and Omega and in the middle of the film expounded to the crowd the everlasting Love of God. There were at least 23 came to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior and God. Then we ended at 8pm.

"On February 19 we still had experienced bad weather condition, since we don’t have covered court in that village we did the program at the waiting shed house and shown to the them the true to life story of Attorney Nick a Cebuano Film. Which tells the story of love and how the character of that film came to know the Savior Jesus, then preached and gave the invitation, praise God! He is worthy to be honored God gives them taste of Heaven thru knowing Jesus and their King and Redeemer. I led them the prayer of commitment and dedicated to them to the Most High and whispering prayer near me to Jesus. And, prayed their faith for blessed assurance of God that He will not leave them nor forsake them even in times of need, diseases, troubles He is there to heal us and for us to cling on. Halleluiah!

"Sir Andrew, while doing mission with our Lord Jesus, He led me to stay in this Local SBC Church in Talogoy – this religious group were becoming the predominantly religious organization in this Barangay or Village, this is certified, that we are part of the growth of believers here and some noticed me for the reaction of the roman catholics that they are now listing their members to monitor who went to the SBC Christian church there. On February 25 we held the film showing and the feeding in the open court. This time, when I preached there somebody in the crowd shouting and ridiculing our work, I just go on and shown them the Alpha and Omega which is a 45 minute film that shown the creation to the lake of fire (Genesis to Revelation) which is known here as the movie bible that tells Christ’s love story for the people of the world. And, I did the invitation and there 43 who indicated believers of Christ who are willing to repent to the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit in them. Their names being listed for follow-up.

"On February 26, I stayed for one day and night in this same church to walk a few kilometers away with the team to reach the next mission field, while approaching the village rainfalls go after us. We fixed the film equipment and the ladies cooked the food inside the house and people came down from the mountain to see the Big screen and see big moving people in the screen about the Bible Movie. We thanked the Lord for the opportunity of inviting them to trust and believe Christ Jesus, 98 young and adults indicated their faith in this presentation. To God be the Glory!

"Praises goes to our Almighty God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ to whom we dedicated this witness the world upon the leadership of the Holy Spirit –for providing us The Blessed people in America in spite of economic challenges yet God’s economy prevails in their hearts to give.

"God bless GlobalNim so much! Many thanks God keep you till He comes!

He is Always on our Side

Hello My Very Kind Sir Andrew and Maam Daleen,

There is always reason to thank the Lord, because He is there always on our side comforting us by His Words.

In the past weeks, I have been travelling as usual to share Christ to the unreached villages here. This this was taken in the second week of August. I was just glad that man featured in the our August newsletter now bringing his former parishioners and very much willing to study for our Pastoral Training. He is the former priest of "Auring," a cult sect of reincarnated Christ in their Auring village. Now he also shared with him four of his parishioners and now will be scheduled for water baptistm, also those with him now attending the Bible studies.

One new brother who came to know the Savior, A.P. (name deleted) gave his testimony in the crowd and challenged the crowd about the good things Jesus done for his life, he was one drug addict before who met the Lord and Savior Jesus and surrender to Christ his vices, and also decided to attend our Pastoral training, because he said, he would like to give his life to Jesus now that he found the real peace in his heart with the Savior.

These new professions of believers were the recipients of Bibles that I purchased from the financial support coming from the Global NIM. The Lord JEsus now trying to redirect some funds to buy the Cebuano Bible Old and New Testament, because this is really the need as of this moment. In order for them to be guided by His word and grow in knowledge be instrument to others too.

There were two locations, where I was invited by two churches to hold for feeding, but we (Pastors) decided to just use the feeding budget to buy Cebuano Bibles here. I do hope you understand as you gave me the judgment to use the funds for feeding and gospel video. However, gospel video of powerful gospel messages thru films is very much very useful here to gather people and share to them the good news of eternat life.

If you can see the flow of those who came to trust their lives to our Savior Jesus, some of them were crying whispering some words of joy that they found the real joy in Jesus. Another Village chairman came to trust Christ and very much willing to attend Bible studies here. The South East Mindanao Tribal Missions with their churches and leaders will now have to follow-up those who just followed Christ as Savior!

I will be sending another set of photos, to vouch our evangelism and mission movement here. Last Aug. 18, I was given a chance to give the topic of the Ministry of the Word of Reconcilliation and exposed it to 113 pastors and leaders here. This is one day event only, and 'twas great and successful. Praise God!

I do thank you Sir Andrew and Maam Daleen for so kind to us with your agonizing prayers that moves people and preach Jesus with fear and favor. Sometimes we encountered rain showers during night time of mission, yet am willing to go anywhere to any person our Savior Jesus.

Also, thank you for sharing to others the need of a motorbike and educational grants for my kids. I believed our God is a master of impossibilities. Prayers moves mountains, for we cannot pray with out great faith to the sustainer and source of everything, and that before we ask Him He has in the process of answering our request to HIm. What I need is to listen, wait and be sensitive to His presence.

My family has been my support also and they are in the praying mode as always, when I was out for 1 week away from home, my wife and kids are interceding. They are indeed one of my prayer warriors too while am on my trip in the far villages to follow the last command of our Lord, also praying with other local missionaries abroad like me.

May you have joy in supporting in mission and to the whole Global NIM Family!

In Christ,

Bro. Elmerson

God's Moving in Malakuma

Last week, the week of July 8th, was a remarkable experience for me at the mountain village of Malakuma. I was invited by the Faith Tabernacle Church to do the Gospel Video and feeding to the kids and parents. We were suppose to do it outside the church in the basketball court yet weather was not cooperating so after the food was served we went inside the Church instead and showed to them the Alpha and Omega film.

I expound to them the very plan of God's Salvation of their souls; that when The Savior Jesus is believed and received, Hewill also be their Lord to provide what they need and heal their sickness and depression. He is the Answer for every need. On that night there were at least 12 professions who came to know the Lord. The Church with Pastor Bobbit is now making follow-up for these new believers become their members and will be baptized in the Church.

Thank you for reading this report and we are so thankful for the Global Nim and you for being there in this ministry of souls. Many Filipinos now having opportunity to hear the Gospel of Salvation and be given the taste of Heaven.

Typhoon Frank

God is good more than anything else in Jesus!

It has been a challenging experience here with our 4 sets of feeding and gospel film mission activities, because the typhoon locally named "Frank" devastated some major cities in the Visayas and Mindanao, even some parts in Luzon; however, for us here in Davao City, we just encountered heavy rain showers but no strong winds, yet our mission activity was not disturbed.

In one Barangay or Village in Island Garden City of Samal named Barangay Sion, where we held our feeding mission, it took us 3 hrs ride by hired motorcycle in order for our team to reach in that Barangay, which is located in the mountinous part of that Island particularly in Caputian town. While we were serving food at 6:30pm, at 7pm there was a black out in the whole Island and heavy rains came, so we used candles to give us light while serving food, though we were shaded by covered Multi Purpose building while serving food. This happened in our June 19 activity.

We also had served food in Barangay Cogon in the following day in the 20th where the typhon sank the big Ship carrying more 700 plus passengers that was missing last friday. And, so with our schedule we pursued and found some strategy to go on with the gospel films presentation. We found a small barbeque stand to shade our small film equipment if rains came in the midst of the presentation. While doing the gospel films, we cut in the climax and gave invitation to the crowd; there were souls that came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and a lot of them asked and need Cebuano bibles to start a home church there.

I just praised God for my two friend Pastors Jerry Solmiron Foursquare Church in Babak IGACOS and Cris Reyes of Christ Community Church in Cogon Babak. IGACOS promised to start a home church in that mission outreach. (By the way, the villages we served for mission have no Evangelical Churches.) These pastors thanked God for the food served and the gospel mission in these villages. (The projects) were so successful, and they told me that they would start following up on those new professions of faith and start bible studies there and then become a home church. Praise the Lord!

There were two villages we served last week with the same bad weather situation which I also sent and attached in the mail so that... you can pray and be delighted for your financial support given to this mission to win souls to Christ. Psalms 82 is reality now and evident today. Our God in heaven is meeting conference for the success of our mission for His Glory and Honor in His Son Jesus, no more no less.

For my family here, we're fine and in good health, by God's grace, thank you for minding us in your prayers and meditation.
I will be doing two scheduled feeding and gospel missions this week and next week

What results!

The first quarter feeding and Gospel video program to almost 890 individuals resulted in 329 decisions for Jesus Christ! Using funds provided by Global NIM, the programs were organized by city, town and village churches; the new believers are now discipled by the respective pastors and lay leaders. Please pray for these new lives in Christ.

Future feedings will be more expensive than last quarter. Brother Elmerson wrote on 4/25, "Philippine economy now worsen and all are increasing in terms of basic commodities like the rice before the commercial rice priced to P/ 26 to 29 now P/ 32 to 38 per kilo. Though there are government supplied rice at P/ 18.50 per kilo but it is so limited and people who are poor enough even medium class would fall in line to buy 2 kilos of rice allowed per customer only. Transportation fare rates are increasing due to crude price hike also. I know God's economy is not disturbed in Man's economy since we have confidence in Jesus our Lord who takes responsibility of everything (Rom. 8:28) for us who love the Lord so much.

"May I now request for another budget for 2nd quarter of this year's feeding and video mission of $ 800. Then, I will increase feeding and video mission opportunities for this budget to bless others/churches of His Love and Salvation thru this program penetrating mostly the Southeastern Part of Mindanao Phils. and maybe travel Visayas and Luzon areas for said mission."

Standing on the Rock

The other day in my room after dedicating myself to our God in Prayer and Thanksgiving, my attention directed to the attached picture which I took on my recent mission trip to Pilar Island. When I strolled along the seaside in the early morning, I was amazed by these two trees(I don't know the kind of trees) that were naturally growing out of solid rock without any soil on it. Pastor Salili told me that they have survived there for years, perhaps even more than a century and they are still alive with green leaves!

The thought came to my mind, and it gives me meanigful significance relating to GlobalNIM and the feeding and gospel video mission which is The Will of God. Looking at this picture, the solid rock where trees are rooted upon, through and under signifies the connection and partnership with Global NIM. It really reflects this partnership with Global NIM under the powerful Presence of God in us through The Holy Spirit working with one goal - to do the Last command of Jesus Christ, who died and rose from grave for you and me. He became Our Savior and Lord. He paid the accounts of sin penalty long ago at the cross of calvary.

In this regard, I can't ask for more to move me with this call without you and the churches in the U.S. and individuals who are praying and supporting us through prayers and [financial] support...

Thank you for your leadership and concern for us Filipinos and for allowing us to be part of GlobalNim. I know in heaven there are many Filipinos there, and it is because we obey our Lord's Command.

With words of gratefulness from the depths of my heart, Pastor Elmerson Palabrica
